Stephen Butkus — Photographer & Director (b. 1983)

Stephen Butkus is a photographer and director working across fashion, swim, portraiture, and editorial.

He picked up a camera at thirteen, shooting skateboarding. Then continued shooting nightlife and subcultures in New York and Scandinavia, and has spent the last 27 years working between New York, LA, and Europe.

His work has appeared in Schön!, Elle, Dazed, SAFAR, and VICE, among others.
He has had several exhibitions and two book releases.

Recent clients include Sony music, Universial music, Coca-Cola, Panos Emporio, Cathrine Hammel, Blacksaw, ARK Swim, Komono, Somerfield Swim, Zara, Charlotte Mercy, Andrea Iyama, Gooseberry, and Amazuin Swim ++
