Stephen Butkus is a photographer and director working in fashion, swim, portraiture, and editorial.
He started shooting at seventeen — first nightlife and subcultures across New York and Scandinavia — and has spent the last 25 years working between New York, LA, and Europe.
His work has appeared in Schön!, Elle, Dazed, SAFAR and VICE ++ and his recent clients include Panos Emporio, Cathrine Hammel, Blacksaw, ARK swim, Komono, Somerfield swim, Zara, Charlotte Mercy, Andrea Iyama, Gooseberry, Amazuin swim, and many more.
Now based in Lisbon, working internationally.
